...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE
TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in SAN JUAN has issued a High Rip
Current Risk, which is in effect from this evening through late
tonight. 

* LOCATION...from the North Central to Northeast beaches of 
  Puerto Rico and Culebra.
 
* TIMING...from this evening 

* IMPACTS...Strong currents that can carry even the strongest of 
  swimmers out to sea.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

There is a high risk of rip currents.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
