* Tornado Warning for...
  Northern Rice County in central Kansas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.
    
* At 710 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Chase, or near Lyons, moving northeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lyons, Chase and Geneseo.

NORTHEASTERN RICE COUNTY...
    
At 727 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Geneseo, or 6 miles north of Lyons, moving northeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
