SOUTHEASTERN CHARLES MIX AND WESTERN BON HOMME COUNTIES...
    
At 815 PM CDT, a confirmed brief tornado touchdown was located about 
5 miles southwest of Avon, or 13 miles west of Tyndall, moving 
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornado will be near...
  Avon and Dante around 830 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

At 824 PM CDT, a confirmed brief touchdown tornado was located over 
near Avon, or 11 miles west of Tyndall, moving north at 20 mph. This 
is a very dangerous storm.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Charles Mix and northwestern Bon Homme Counties.

was located near Avon, or 10 miles northwest of Tyndall, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Rural areas of northwest Bon Homme.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL CHARLES MIX AND NORTHWESTERN
BON HOMME COUNTIES HAS EXPIRED...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire.  However heavy
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central South Dakota. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains
in effect until 400 AM CDT for south central and southeastern South
Dakota.
