...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT JO DAVIESS...NORTHERN CARROLL...
STEPHENSON AND EAST CENTRAL JACKSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1030 PM CDT...
At 949 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Woodbine, or 16
miles southeast of Galena, moving east at 55 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Freeport, Lena, Stockton, Warren, Hanover, Pearl City, Elizabeth,
Cedarville, Davis, Woodbine, Dakota, German Valley, Scales Mound,
Apple River, Winslow, Rock City, Ridott, Nora, Schapville and
Massbach.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm. Minor flooding
of low lying areas, creeks, streams and urban areas is possible. If
you encounter water over a roadway, do not drive through it.
