* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Erie County in north central Ohio...
  West central Lorain County in north central Ohio...

* Until 545 AM EST.

* At 1149 PM EST, local law enforcement reported that the Vermilion 
  River was rising rapidly near the mouth of the river in Vermilion 
  due to an ice jam. The river is rising out of its banks and 
  impacting nearby roads and homes.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Western Vermilion, Vermilion, and Brownhelm Township. 

* Evacuations are underway in Brownhelm Township.   

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
