The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Berkshire County in western Massachusetts...
  Northeastern Columbia County in east central New York...

* Until 400 PM EDT.
    
* At 334 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near New Lebanon, or 8 miles northeast of Chatham,
  moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Pittsfield and Lenox around 350 PM EDT.
  Lee around 355 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Canaan, Barkerville, Washington, Tanglewood, New Lenox, Lenox Dale,
The Center At Lenox, Carey Corner, Mahkeenac Terrace and Tanglewood
Performing Arts Center.
