The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Tulsa County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 829 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Mesonet measurements at Bixby 
  suggested rainfall rates greater than 2 inches per hour. Some 
  reports of road closures due to high water have been received as 
  well. Flash flooding is expected to begin or has already 
  begun.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...

The heavier rains should come to an end soon, but it will take a few 
hours for the high waters to recede.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN TULSA COUNTY...

At 1052 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rains have 
ended over Tulsa county. However, high waters remain in spots with 
some reports of flooding continuing.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 220 and 232.
