The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Franklin County in northeastern Texas...
  Northwestern Morris County in northeastern Texas...
  Titus County in northeastern Texas...
  Southeastern Red River County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 930 PM CST

* At 844 PM CST, a confirmed tornado was located near 
  Winnfield, moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado. 

  SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado. Just Northeast of 
           Winnsboro earlier with trees and power lines 
           down.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* The tornado will be near...
  Mount Pleasant around 855 PM CST. 
  Wilkerson around 905 PM CST. 

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Lydia,
Harts Bluff and Winfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Motorists should not take shelter under highway overpasses. If you
cannot safely drive away from the tornado, as a last resort, either
park your vehicle and stay put, or abandon your vehicle and lie down
in a low lying area and protect yourself from flying debris.

At 902 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Wilkerson, or 8 miles north of Mount Pleasant,
moving northeast at 45 mph. This storm has moved to the Northeast
of Mount Pleasant.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pleasant, Wilkerson, Lydia and Harts Bluff.

for Bowie County in Northeast Texas and a small part of Southeast 
Red River county. The part of Red River county will be expired 
shortly as the storm moves into Bowie county.
