* At 343 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the Junkins burn scar. Radar indicates one to 
  two inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  the Junkins Burn Scar.

At 350 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding on the 
Junkins Burn scar. One to two inches of rain have fallen. Flash 
flooding is already occurring.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hardscrabble Creek drainage. The debris flow can 
consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Junkins burn scar.

At 410 PM MDT, emergency management reported flash flooding on the 
Junkins burn scar. One to two inches of rain have fallen. Flash 
flooding is already occurring.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hardscrabble Creek drainage. The debris flow can 
consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
the Junkins burn scar.  Highways 165 and Highway 96 are closed due 
to flooding and debris flows.

This includes the following streams and drainages...North 
Hardscrabble Creek...South Hardscrabble Creek...North Saint Charles 
River...Middle Hardscrabble Creek...and Hardscrabble Creek.

At 421 PM MDT, the public reported flash flooding occurring on the 
Junkins burn scar at County Road 386 and County Road 389.  Flash 
flooding is already occurring.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Hardscrabble drainage. The debris flow can 
consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wetmore by 5 PM.

At 503 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding on 
Hardscrabble Creek. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Excessive rainfall over the Junkins burn scar will result in debris 
flow moving through the Hardscrabble Creek drainage. The debris flow 
can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.  The 
Fremont County Sheriffs Office reports cars washed off Highway 96 
and that the Highway is washed out.  They also reported Oak Creek 
Grade is closed on the Custer County side due to flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wetmore.  If you live in Wetmore, seek higher ground.

At 527 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding on 
Hardscrabble Creek in Wetmore.  Flash flooding is already occurring.

Excessive rainfall over the Junkins burn scar has resulted in debris 
flow moving through the Hardscrabble Creek drainage. Law enforcement 
reported a 20 foot wide wall of water currently moving through 
Wetmore. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and 
other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wetmore.

Custer County dispatch reported that flooding along Hardscabble 
Creek has come to an end. However, water is still running high along 
Hardscabble Creek and associated drainages. Please use caution in 
and around the Junkins Burn Scar. Do not drive in areas where the 
roads have been closed by authorities.
