...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM MDT FOR
CENTRAL HUERFANO COUNTY...

At 245 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area.  Flash flooding is expected shortly for 
the Dog Springs Arroyo, South Oak Creak, Chavez  Arroyo, and 
Yellowstone Creek. Radar indicated precipitation amounts show that 1 
inch of rain fell over parts over the burn scar and a more 
widespread 0.5 inch fell over the burn scar. 

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow 
moving through the Dog Springs Arroyo, South Oak Creak, Chavez 
Arroyo, and Yellowstone Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, 
mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of central
Huerfano County.
