...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND FOG WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE HIGH 
ELEVATIONS OF CARBON AND MONROE COUNTIES...

At 415 PM EDT, the steady precipitation has moved east of the 
Poconos with pockets of drizzle and fog left behind. With 
temperatures still hovering around freezing along the southern 
Pocono ridges above 1500 feet in elevation, light freezing drizzle 
and freezing fog will continue to occur through the remainder of the 
afternoon. 

An additional light glaze of ice is possible through 600 PM. With 
pavement temperatures still fairly warm, freezing rain will be 
primary confined to elevated surfaces such as trees, powerlines and 
cars. Nonetheless, caution should still be used when traveling on 
bridges and overpasses as these tend to freeze first. Allow plenty 
of stopping distance and avoid braking suddenly, especially when 
driving around curves.
