...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT
FOR MORRIS...HUNTERDON...SOUTHWESTERN SUSSEX...EASTERN WARREN...
WESTERN SOMERSET AND NORTH CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 835 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Newton to Succasunna-Kenvil to near Byram, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Somerville, Newton, Bridgewater, Dover, Hopatcong,
Manville, Hackettstown, Wharton, Washington, Rockaway, Morris Plains,
Mount Arlington, Franklin, Mendham, Flemington, Mountain Lakes,
Tinicum, High Bridge and Stanhope.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

At 851 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Hamburg to near Lake Telemark to near Flemington,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management. Several reports of wind damage have 
         been received from Warren and Hunterdon Counties.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Dover, Hopatcong, Manville,
