.A storm system moving out of the southwest spread rain showers and
thunderstorms across the region during the past 24 hours. Rainfall has
been moderate to heavy, producing a great deal of runoff into streams
and rivers. The runoff is resulting in rapid rises on area rivers
sufficient to cause flooding across the Monongahela and Ohio rivers.
