  Northeastern Menominee County in south central Upper Michigan...

* Until 845 PM EDT/745 PM CDT/.
    
* At 831 PM EDT/731 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of
  producing a tornado was located near Powers, or 18 miles west of
  Escanaba, moving east at 65 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.
