* Flash Flood Warning for...
Callaway County in central Missouri...
* Until 1045 PM CDT.
* At 537 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jefferson City, Fulton, Holts Summit, Auxvasse, New Bloomfield,
Chamois, Lake Mykee Town, Shamrock, Lake Mykee, Williamsburg,
Mokane, Kingdom City, Wainwright, Portland, Carrington, Tebbetts,
Guthrie, Reform and Steedman.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 148 and 161.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

CALLAWAY COUNTY...
At 724 PM CDT, Doppler radar estimated that 4 to 5 inches of rain
has fallen along and south of a line from Holts Summit to New
Bloomfield to Fulton.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fulton, Holts Summit, Auxvasse, New Bloomfield, Chamois, Lake Mykee
Town, Shamrock, Lake Mykee, Williamsburg, Mokane, Kingdom City,
Wainwright, Portland, Carrington, Tebbetts, Guthrie, Reform and
Steedman.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 148 and 161.
The headwaters of Auxvasse Creek, Hillers Creek, and the Middle
River were hit especially hard with this heavy rain. People should
expect flooding on these streams this evening as runoff from heavy
rain moves downstream.
