Apr 3, 7:00 AM EDT	FLASH FLOOD	2 Ssw Devore, IN	BUSH ROAD WAS REPORTED TO BE WASHED OUT DUE TO FLASH FLOODING FROM HEAVY THUNDERSTORM RAINFALL. LOCUST LAKE DRIVE NEAR THIS SAME LOCATION WAS FLOODED AS WELL. ALSO, PORTIONS OF US HIGHWAY 231 NORTH AND ATKINSONVILLE ROAD WERE REPORTED TO BE FLOODED.

* At 616 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Two to nearly three inches of 
  rain have already fallen...most coming since 430 AM EDT. Flash 
  flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Prairieton, Gosport, Center Point, Riley, Patricksburg, Cory,
  Saline City, Bowling Green, Quincy, Pimento and Devore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

* At 853 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. 3 to 4 inches of rain have 
  already fallen across Clay and Owen Counties. Flash flooding is 
  already occurring and a water rescue is in progress near the 
  intersection of State Route 46 and Fish Creek Road northwest of 
  Spencer.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Prairieton, Gosport, Center Point, Riley, Patricksburg, Cory,
  Saline City, Bowling Green, Quincy, Pimento and Devore.
