The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Western Carroll County in northern Kentucky...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 226 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Madison, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud near Hanover 
           Indiana.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  western Carroll County.

CARROLL COUNTY...
        
At 233 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Milton, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud near Hanover. 
         Spotters also estimated hail in excess of 2 inches.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
western Carroll County.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR WESTERN CARROLL COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT 300
PM EDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty 
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm and a severe 
thunderstorm warning remains in effect for northern Carroll County.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for northern
Kentucky.
