* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Cowley County in south central Kansas...

* Until 230 PM CDT.
    
* At 143 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Geuda Springs, or near Arkansas City, moving
  southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Arkansas City, Geuda Springs and Strother Field Airport.

was located over Arkansas City, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a lowering and rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
