* Flood Warning For
the Big Rib River at Rib Falls.
* At 10:15 AM Wednesday the stage was 12.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Impacts at 13.0 feet. The water current is fast in the Rib Falls
area. Widespread lowland flooding is occurring downstream to
western Wausau. In Marathon city...several feet of water is
covering Lions Park...water is surrounding homes near River Road
north of Marathon City.

* At 9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 6.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 15.5 feet by tomorrow early afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by early Friday morning.
* Impacts at 15.6 feet. Floodwaters are near a couple of homes in the
Babcock area near Highway 173.
