The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Mitchell County in north central Kansas...

* Until 645 PM CDT
    
* At 607 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Hunter, or 21 miles northwest of Lincoln, moving
  northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Mitchell County.
