* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Clay County in southeastern South Dakota...
  Southwestern Lincoln County in southeastern South Dakota...
  Southeastern Turner County in southeastern South Dakota...

* Until 1230 PM CDT.

* At 927 AM CDT, numerous rural roads are reported to remain under 
  water at mid morning. Additional heavy rain will continue across 
  the warned area through the next 1 to 2 hours. Flash flooding will 
  remain a significant concern.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Centerville, Viborg, Irene, Hurley, Wakonda and Davis. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

NORTHWESTERN CLAY...SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN AND SOUTHEASTERN TURNER
COUNTIES...

At 1025 AM CDT, emergency management reported numerous township 
roads remained under water. Widespread rainfall from 3 to 5 inches 
occurred across the area, with the recent early morning round of 
heavy rainfall shifted north of Interstate 90. Flash flooding is 
already occurring.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Centerville, Viborg, Irene, Hurley, Wakonda and Davis.
