thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to
three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is
already occurring in portions of the warned area according to
social media posts on the Uvalde County Sheriff's Office Facebook
page.

Uvalde, Vanderpool, El Indio, Sabinal, Chula Vista, Laguna, Concan,
Darling, Uvalde Estates, Dabney, Cline, Anacacho, Reagan Wells,
Utopia, Rosita, Knippa, Blewett, Paloma, Rio Frio and Washer.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

that heavy rain was falling over the area. Over three inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Uvalde
County Sheriff's office reports multiple road closures, including
Hwy 55, FM 41, FM 140, and FM 1023.
