* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Webster County in central Iowa...
Southwestern Hamilton County in central Iowa...
* Until 230 PM CDT.
* At 837 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. As much as three to four inches
of rain have already fallen. Minor street flooding was reported in
Fort Dodge with more rain on the way. Flash flooding is expected
to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Dodge, Webster City, Jewell Junction, Fort Dodge Regional
Airport, Stratford, Coalville, Badger, Otho, Ellsworth, Stanhope,
Lehigh, Duncombe, Kamrar, Barnum, Vincent, Randall, Moorland,
Woodman Hollow State Park, Dolliver Memorial State Park and Lizard
Creek State Recreation Area.
This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 127 and 131.

CENTRAL WEBSTER AND SOUTHWESTERN HAMILTON COUNTIES...
At 1059 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the rain has decreased in
intensity across the warned area. As much as four to five inches of
rain have fallen. In Hamilton County, the Hamilton County Sheriff's
Department reported that Iowa Highway 17 was closed at County Road
D65 due to flooding. Also in Hamilton County, 380th Street was
closed at Nelson Street. Flash flooding is likely ongoing elsewhere
in the warned area.
