The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East central Columbia County in central Pennsylvania...

* Until 430 PM EDT..

* At 125 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  torrential rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain 
  has already fallen over the past 90 minutes. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Berwick, Mifflinville and Briar Creek. 

Additional very heavy rainfall 1 to 2 inches is possible in the 
warned area between 130 PM and 230 PM which could significantly 
increase the severity of the flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

EAST CENTRAL COLUMBIA COUNTY...

At 241 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain across the warned area. More than 3 inches of 
rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
shortly.
