...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CATTARAUGUS COUNTY...
At 415 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced up to
two inches of rain in the warning area. The heaviest amounts
occurred just north of Randolph, and just west of Cattaraugus and
Little Valley. Although the heavy rain has ended, it takes some time
for heavy rain to run off, with flash flooding expected in these
areas.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
New Albion, Conewango, Leon, Napoli, Little Valley, East Otto,
Cattaraugus and Otto.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
