...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CATTARAUGUS AND CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES...

At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area.  Radar estimates over an inch and a 
half of rain has fallen in some locations. Flash flooding is 
expected to begin shortly.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fredonia, Westfield, Gowanda, Mayville, Clymer, Long Point State
Park, Findley Lake and Chautauqua Institute.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 10.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
