* Until 645 AM CDT.
* At 447 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 5 and 7 inches of rain
have already fallen within the warned area. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Raymondville, Lyford, Port Mansfield, Lasara, Sebastian, San
Perlita, Port Mansfield Airport, Willamar, Yturria and Lyford
Elementary School.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

WILLACY COUNTY...
At 515 AM CDT, the Willacy County Emergency Manager reported several
homes in Port Mansfield in danger of being flooded. Emergency Management
also reported water inside the school in San Perlita, while FM 2209 and
Highway 186 west of FM 2209 had water over the roadway, with the entire
downtown area of Raymondville in the process of being shut down due to
flooding. Flash flooding is expected to continue.
