The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 10 PM EST this evening. * Location...All of Southern New England. * Winds...West 15 to 30 mph with some gusts between 40 and 50 mph. * Timing...Winds increase later this morning and continue into the evening. * Impacts...Some downed tree limbs and isolated power outages are possible. The concern for any potential power outages is greater than normal give the bitterly cold air working into the region. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph.
