  Central Winona County in southeastern Minnesota...

* Until 945 PM CDT.
    
* At 913 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles south of Stockton, or 9 miles south of Winona,
  moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

At 920 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Winona, moving
northeast at 40 mph. However, it appears the tornado has now 
weakened and probably lifted. 

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR CENTRAL WINONA COUNTY IS CANCELLED...
                
A tornado briefly touched down between Rushford and Wyattville in 
southern Winona around 915 pm. The tornado has lifted and no 
longer poses a threat.

Therefore the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.
