* Flash Flood Warning for...
Antrim County in northern Michigan...
* Until 315 PM EDT
* At 1219 PM EDT, law enforcement reported ponding of water on many
roads across the county, with water over some roads. The Jordan
River is also rising quickly. The rain should begin to diminish
over the next few hours but runoff from previous heavy rain will
result in continued rises on many rivers, creeks and streams
across the warned area.
* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Elk Rapids, Mancelona, Bellaire, Ellsworth, Antrim, Torch Lake,
Central Lake, Clam River, Kewadin, Alden, Jordan Township, Warner
Township, Alba and Lake Bellaire.

ANTRIM COUNTY...
At 130 PM EDT, Antrim County emergency management reported rivers
and creeks still overflowing their banks. Even though water is
starting to recede, some roads may have the potential to be affected
by flood waters.
The rain will be ending through 3 pm but creeks, streams and rivers
across the warned area may continue to rise due to the heavy rain
that fell earlier today.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
