  Emmet County in northern Michigan...

* Until 300 PM EDT

* At 1056 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding of area 
  roadways due to heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two 
  inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Petoskey, Cheboygan, Harbor Springs, Pellston, Mackinaw City,
  Indian River, Conway, Aloha, Carp Lake, Alanson, Bliss, Cross
  Village, Wolverine, Aloha State Park, Stutsmanville, Reasoners
  Corner, Cheboygan State Park, Pleasant View, Alverno and Burt Lake.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch are possible in the 
warned area through mid afternoon.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM EDT FOR
CHEBOYGAN AND EMMET COUNTIES...

At 1138 AM EDT, local media and law enforcement report that the 
Sturgeon River along Old 27 in Cheboygan County is out of its banks, 
with water over the road in some areas.  Several homes are in danger 
of being flooded.  Other localized flooding is occurring across the 
warned area, with water over some roads.  

Additional rainfall amounts of up to one inch will be possible in 
some locations before the rain diminishes later this afternoon. Many 
rivers, creeks and streams across the warned area will continue to 
rise for the next several hours.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM EDT FOR
CHEBOYGAN AND EMMET COUNTIES...

At 121 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding 
continuing across parts of Emmet and Cheboygan Counties.  One 
particularly hard hit area was south of Wolverine, where water was 
reported over several roads.  

The rain will be ending through 3 pm but creeks, streams and rivers 
across the warned area will likely continue to rise due to the heavy 
rain that fell earier today.
