* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Lincoln County in south central Nevada...
Central Nye County in south central Nevada...
* Until 600 PM PDT
* At 255 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the near the Nevada National Security Site.
Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. Additional storms
may form eastward and impact Hiko and impact highway 375 and the
Great Basin Highway.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Alamo and Hiko.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

thunderstorms producing heavy rain and flash flooding across the
northern portions of the Nevada National Security Site and western
Lincoln county. Flash flooding remains possible.
