The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
  Southern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 545 PM MST

* At 251 PM MST, gauge reports indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain has 
  already fallen near Mount Lemmon since 2 pm, with over a half inch 
  of rain on the east side near Redington Pass. 
  
  Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Oro Valley, Oracle, Tanque Verde, Campo Bonito, Saddlebrooke, Mount
  Lemmon/Summerhaven, Catalina State Park, Sabino Canyon, Seven
  Falls, Biosphere 2, Catalina, Redington and Catalina Foothills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM MST FOR
NORTHEASTERN PIMA AND SOUTHERN PINAL COUNTIES...

At 454 PM MST, the thunderstorms which produced the heavy rain had 
exited the warned area. However, runoff and flash flooding is 
expected to continue over the next hour.

Normally dry washes and low water crossings may be inundated in the
following locations...
Oro Valley, Oracle, Tanque Verde, Campo Bonito, Saddlebrooke, Mount
Lemmon/Summerhaven, Catalina State Park, Sabino Canyon, Seven Falls,
Biosphere 2, Catalina, Redington and Catalina Foothills.
