The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Franklin County in west central Arkansas...

* Until 900 AM CDT

* At 506 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated training thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that 
  between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain has fallen. The heaviest rains 
  have fallen in the Garner, Perry, Hurricane and Sixmile creek 
  basins in far southern Franklin county. Flash flooding is expected 
  to begin shortly.

Cells continue to redevelop in the region, increasing the flood 
potential. Overall, however, the heavy rains should come to an end

deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
