The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West central Osage County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* Until 445 AM CDT Tuesday

* At 849 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that just over 
  2 inches of rain has fallen over the past hour due to the nearly 
  stationary storms. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Fairfax...                        Burbank...
  Southwestern Kaw Lake...          

Additional heavy rainfall is expected over the warned area from a 
complex of storms approaching from the west. This additional heavy 
rain will only exacerbate the flooding situation across west central 
Osage county.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT TUESDAY
FOR WEST CENTRAL OSAGE COUNTY...

At 957 PM CDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar rainfall 
estimates between 2 and 3 inches have occurred, and the squall line 
is moving thru with more heavy rain. Flash flooding is likely 
occurring near Fairfax.
