* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Sevier County in central Utah...
* Until 430 PM MDT
* At 126 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain over Solomon Basin in southeastern Sevier county. 2 to
3 inches of rain have fallen in this area in the last hour.
* Flash flooding is expected to impact Solomon Creek and other
waterways in the area. This flash flood warning includes a
portion of State Route 72 near Hogan Pass.
* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Sevier County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Dry
washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.

Very heavy rainfall continues over the Solomon Basin area including
portions of State Route 72 near Hogan Pass. Over 4 inches of rain
have fallen in the Solomon Basin.
This warning includes Solomon Creek and other waterways and dry
washes in the Solomon Basin.
