The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Smith County in northeastern Texas...
  Southern Upshur County in northeastern Texas...
  Northwestern Gregg County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 700 PM CDT
    
* At 610 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located about 5 miles southeast of Big Sandy, just 
  north of the Sabine River near the Upshur, Smith, and Gregg County 
  line, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. A tornado was confirmed just 
           southwest of Hawkins with this storm. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Gladewater around 620 PM CDT. 
  White Oak, Clarksville City and West Mountain around 625 PM CDT. 
  East Mountain around 635 PM CDT. 
  Longview around 640 PM CDT. 
  Diana around 645 PM CDT.
