The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern San Diego County in southwestern California...
* Until 700 PM PST
* At 406 PM PST, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated
heavy rain across northwest San Diego County. The heaviest rain of
0.50 to 1.00 inches in the past 2 hours has occurred across Camp
Pendleton, Fallbrook and the foothills of Palomar Mountain. Flash
flooding will likely begin shortly in creeks and low lying areas.
In addition, there will be dangerous urban flooding in North County.
Storm drains may become overwhelmed with rainfall runoff leading to
areas of deep water.
Rainfall rates of 0.50 inches per hour will occur through 7 pm.

Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, Encinitas, Valley Center, Fallbrook,
Camp Pendleton, Del Mar, Escondido, San Marcos, Solana Beach,

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM PST FOR
NORTHWESTERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY...
At 634 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated rainfall continuing in
northern San Diego County. Drainages into the Escondido creek have
received 1 inch of rain in the past 3 hours. Additional rainfall of
0.50 to 0.75 inches is expected through 9 pm before there is a
break. This will cause major water flow into Escondido Creek and
other small streams in northern San Diego County.
Rainfall is expected to increase area in northern San Diego County
after midnight.
