  Central Shannon County in south central Missouri...

* Until 1230 AM CDT
    
* At 1140 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located 8 miles north of Birch Tree, or 13 miles
  northeast of Mountain View, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

east at 30 mph.
