  White River at R Street affecting King and Pierce Counties.

Releases from Mud Mountain Dam will keep the White River at
R Street around flood stage today and tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas...this is 
the cause of most flood related deaths in Washington. Be alert for 
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to NOAA Weather 
radio or other local media.

* At 12:45 PM Friday the flow was 5499 cfs.
* Flood flow is 5500 cfs.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood flow around 1 PM Friday 
  and crest near 5600 cfs around 11 PM Friday. The river will fall 
  below flood flow Saturday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 5500 cfs, river flooding is likely to occur near low 
  bank areas around and downstream of the Stewart Street Bridge in 
  the City of Sumner.
