West central Teller County in central Colorado... * Until 830 PM MDT * At 531 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Doppler radar estimates 1 to 2 inches of rain has already fallen, with public reports of roads washed out and creeks over their banks around Teller County Roads 1 and 11. * Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Teller County. This includes the following streams and drainages...Dry Creek... Slater Creek...Barnard Creek...Hay Creek and Fourmile Creek. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
