  Northern White County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southeastern Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 545 PM CDT
    
* At 508 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles north of Sparta, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* Locations impacted include...
  Cookeville, Sparta, Monterey, Hamptons Crossroads and Bakers
  Crossroads.
