...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES...PERRY...SOUTHERN WAYNE AND NORTHWESTERN GREENE COUNTIES
UNTIL 515 PM CDT...

At 435 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles south of Mill Creek to Ovett to near
Maxie, and moving northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Waynesboro, Richton, Clara, Beaumont, New Augusta, McLain, State Line
and Buckatunna.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
