...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR LOWER PARTS OF SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND ALL
AREAS OF NORTHWEST FLORIDA UNTIL 7 AM CDT SUNDAY...

.Heavy rainfall expected over the coastal counties of Alabama and
all areas in Northwest Florida through tonight. Rainfall rates of
2 inches or slightly better per hour are expected with the heavier
thunderstorms through tonight. The best chance for flash flooding
with be generally along and south of a line stretching from north
Mobile County to Brewton in Alabama, including all areas in 
Northwest Florida.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Alabama and northwest 
  Florida, including the following areas, in Alabama, Baldwin 
  Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, Escambia, Mobile 
  Central, Mobile Coastal, and Mobile Inland. In northwest 
  Florida, Escambia Coastal, Escambia Inland, Okaloosa Coastal, 
  Okaloosa Inland, Santa Rosa Coastal, and Santa Rosa Inland. 

* Until 7 AM CDT Sunday

* Heavy rain has occurred for several hours over western sections
  of the watch area and will continue through most of tonight 
  also spreading eastward over Northwest Florida late tonight and 
  early Sunday morning. 

* Additional rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches will be likely in
  the watch area through tonight with locally higher amounts also
  possible. 

* PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
