* Flash Flood Warning for...
Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
Western Escambia County in northwestern Florida...
* Until 345 AM CDT
* At 951 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Three to four inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring on the
Fort Morgan Penisula...and is expected to expand inland as the
heavy rains move inland.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Daphne, Fairhope, Gulf Shores, Foley, Orange Beach, Spanish Fort,
Robertsdale, Point Clear, Loxley, Lillian, Magnolia Springs,
Stapleton, Bon Secour, Summerdale, Silverhill, Perdido Beach and
Elberta.
Additional rainfall amounts of three are possible in the warned area.

BALDWIN AND WESTERN ESCAMBIA COUNTIES...
At 1053 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of heavy rain
streaming north across the warned area. Four to five inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding is occurring on the Fort Morgan
peninsula and is expected to begin shortly if not already occurring.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Daphne, Fairhope, Foley, Orange Beach, Spanish Fort, Robertsdale,
Point Clear, Loxley, Lillian, Magnolia Springs, Stapleton, Bon
Secour, Summerdale, Silverhill, Perdido Beach and Elberta.
Additional rainfall amounts of two to four are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
