* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
  Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...
  Escambia County in northwestern Florida...
  Santa Rosa County in northwestern Florida...
  Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...

* Until 1045 PM CST Monday

* At 442 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  very heavy rainfall across the warned area. RAINFALL AMOUNTS up to
  6 to 8 inches have fallen during the past day. Radar is now
  estimating.  In addition, radar is now estimating 3 to 4 inches
  every three hours,and in some cases, 2 to 3 inches in an hour.

  Inundation flooding will transition back to flash flooding this
  evening as the intense rainfall rates continue to develop and
  train eastward along the I-10 Corridor from mobile east t
  Crestview, FL. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly and
  this means rapid rises in water!

  Downtown Mobile, Midtown Mobile, Pensacola, Prichard, Ferry Pass,
  Brent, West Pensacola, Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Ensley, Daphne,
  Tillmans Corner, Warrington, Crestview, Fairhope, Saraland,
  Niceville, Gonzalez, Destin and Gulf Shores.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CST FOR
BALDWIN...MOBILE...ESCAMBIA...SANTA ROSA AND OKALOOSA COUNTIES...

At 646 PM CST, emergency management officials and multiple other
sources have reported dozens of road closures along the I-10
Corridor. Flash Flooding is confirmed to be in progress.

Although less widespread, several more waves, or clusters, of
thunderstorms will continue moving out of southeast MS this evening
and during the valid time of this warning. At this time most of the
additional rainfall this evening and is forecast to remain along and
south of the I-10 Corridor.  This will maintain elevated water
levels.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Downtown Mobile, Midtown Mobile, Pensacola, Prichard, Ferry Pass,
Brent, West Pensacola, Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Ensley, Daphne,
Tillmans Corner, Warrington, Crestview, Fairhope, Saraland,
Niceville, Gonzalez, Destin and Gulf Shores.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please heed road closures from public safety officials and remain on
higher ground if you live near a creek, stream or near a low-lying
area!
