The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Volusia County in east central Florida...

* Until 715 PM EST
    
* At 654 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Lake George, or near Salt Springs, moving
  northeast at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Volusia County, including the following locations:
  Bakerstown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

thunderstorm.

The storm which prompted the warning near Lake George has moved out
of the area. Therefore the tornado warning has been allowed to
expire. However gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with
this thunderstorm.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EST for east central
Florida.
