The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Seminole County in east central Florida...
  Northern Brevard County in Florida...
  Southeastern Orange County in east central Florida...
  Southeastern Volusia County in east central Florida...

* Until 1145 PM EDT

* At 946 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a persistent heavy rain 
  band from Hurricane Irma moving through northern Brevard County 
  inland through Orange, Seminole and extreme southern Volusia 
  counties. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 to 4 inches with 
  this rain band, combined with observed rainfall amounts up to 7 to 
  9 inches that have already fallen across this area today will lead 
  to flash flooding of area roadways and may lead to water entering 
  some homes in the warned area. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Sanford, Titusville, Oviedo and Bithlo. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay off roadways as strong tropical storm force conditions and 
flooding are occurring. Be especially cautious at night when it is 
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

The heavy rain band from Hurricane Irma has shifted north of the 
warned area. Additional rain will continue through late tonight 
which will aggravate ongoing flooding issues. However significant 
rises in rainfall amounts that could lead to additional flash 
flooding across northern Brevard, Seminole, eastern Orange, and 
extreme southern Volusia counties are not expected.
