...VERY STRONG WINDS AGAIN TODAY...

.A tight pressure gradient between intense low pressure over
Canada and high pressure to the south will bring very strong
gusty winds again today. The winds will diminish first in south
central Wisconsin late this afternoon and then in the east by
early evening, as high pressure begins to move in from the
Northern Plains.

AFTERNOON...

a High Wind Warning remains in effect until 5 PM CST this
afternoon. 

* TIMING...West winds of 30 to 40 mph with some gusts 55 to 60
  mph. The winds may ease a bit later this afternoon. The
  strongest winds will persist through 3 PM.

* WINDS...West at 30 to 40 with gusts of 55 to 60 mph possible.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make driving difficult... 
  especially for high profile vehicles. Secure small objects, 
  like garbage cans, as they will blow around easily. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

...WINDS DIMINISHING INTO THE EVENING...

.Strong westerly winds have begun to ease late this afternoon and
will continue to do so into the evening hours. A few higher gusts
may linger over the next hour or so, but should drop off quite a
bit as daytime heating is lost.
