At 618 AM CDT National Weather Service Doppler Radar detected rain
and thunderstorms over all of the warning area. Up to 2 inches of
rain has fallen since 5 AM in eastern Craighead County,
with rainfall totals over 4 inches in the warning area.
Many roads have been flooded in and around Jonesboro. Some homes
have been threatened in southeast Jonesboro with people being
evacuated.

evacuations were in progress in southeast Jonesboro. Radar estimates
total rainfall of 4 to 5 inches in the Jonesboro area.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Jonesboro. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
